Saw it on Saturday, far better then the other Xmen series that's come before it, it left me wanting more. I was like okay now they've discovered their powers and do something :-D.

No this retcons X3 and X-Men origins but ties in with X1 & X2.
Money well spent.
Easily ones of the best Super Hero movies since Watchmen and The Dark Knight and while its not entirely on The Dark Knights level its gets close.
Now that we have been treated to the exposition, I would like to know more about what happened after Magneto and Professor X parted ways, and what became of Havok [Cyclops' father?] Banshee, Miranda Frost and Angel.
Now I know why Mystique is so devoted to Magneto. It is also more difficult to dislike him after this. His early life still haunts him, as does anger and a not unreasonable distrust of humans.
