I wouldn't compare the two just yet. Nintendo made a crapload of money with the Wii, if they used it to make the Wii U it could turn out to be beast. I'll wait and see what games they bring out and how good they are before making any comments.

Agreed. Until we see final product in demo here in South Africa, I would prefer to remain optimistic.

Maybe see it at Rage later this year? That would be nice.

I still want to know more about the important specs to me, CPU, GPU, ram. But awesome, not a fan of the wii, but competition is always good.

The thing is, we didn't like the Wii cause it was 99% motion control with outdated tech and very few decent games. If they cut back on the motion control and the console itself has good tech......... could be interesting. Especially if they start bringing out good games.

I would love to see the specs of the GPU and how it compares to the 360 and PS3. If the games coming out for this new console looks better than the 360 and PS3 games, well then it might work as a good filler until the other two consoles get their replacements.

Amped about the new Nintendo console. I enjoyed the Wii, even though it was just for casual gaming. There were some good games on that system and I will keep it around for a few years still.

    BUT...

With the direction that gaming is moving into now, I would like to read and see more before I shell out for a new console.
    That's what she said.

I don't know about that controller. Doesn't look very comfortable. Can't see myself gaming for hours holding that thing.
