Ok so I searched and couldn't believe that I could be the only one with this problem, or maybe I'm not doing the search right, in which case I profusely apologise.
I've been using Neotel for some time now and have decided to change over to the new 1MB ADSL line as its just better in every concievable way and obviously more cost affective.
Called Neotel and asked how to cancel:
You need to send an email with a cancellation letter to x email adress and give 30 days notice.
Ok so I did that and still haven't heard anything from them 3 days later.
Called them up again and asked what the story is and if they could at least let me know if they got my mail.
After taking my number, and not varifying my identity for ownership, I was put on hold for 5 minutes and then was told that someone would contact me after about 20 days to confirm cancellation.
I then asked if they could at least confirm that my letter had at least reached them, the answer: "We can't check that now, must wait to be contacted after 20 days."
I can't help but wonder what happens if those fuckers don't call me back and tell me some bullshit about my mail not reaching them. Or what if they tell me some shit about the letter not being done right or something like that.
I'm guessing a lot of people must have to do this before me, any suggestions?
