prove me wrong nintendo. i still think the wii is shit regardless of how many millions it's sold.
the new thing will probably make me think the same. but honestly prove me wrong
Play games, not platforms
@Tank, as Lycanthrope posted, your post is regretfully quite subjective. While I won't deny that the Wii isn't everyone's favourite, it has a more than healthy market share of happy followers.
Would be good if you could be more specific about your discontent and open a healthy debate?![]()
From what I've seen it doesn't look innovative and with breakthrough technology so have my doubts until I see it myself in action not on some movie
Also the gaming content on the Wii has never been as good as the titles available on PS3 and Xbox360
And yes controller is most ugly thing I have ever seen it reminds me of those brick cellphones or lego made ones.
Interesting ideas. but how will you use the nun-chuckie thingy with the big controller in one hand? :? bit confused unless you just stick with their wii controllers of old.... Not a console person much myself so won't be getting one. but still, you godda give it to these guys for being.................................. different![]()
I think this one will be quite different from the Wii though. I assume you dislike the Wii because you're more interested in power than gimmicks, but Nintendo seems quite happy to cater to that this time around.
I feel they're trying to cater for the Wii lovers, while also trying to bring the power gamers into the fold.

I think this is a completely different direction that I expected from nintendo but it seems that they know what they doing. And I was wondering, since the Wii was a motion game system why does the Wii U become a handheld device? :/
XBOX 360: Great Solstice | PC/STEAM: souluser7 | PC/XFIRE: Great.Solstice
I wouldn't have a problem with a new iteration of motion controller that looks like an iPad, except that their current-gen motion controller STILL falls short of providing anything but frustration.
It barely ever does what it should do, and reduces any player into a circus of random stick waggling trying to get the stupid shit to do what it SHOULD be doing.
Sure, lets NOT fix the problem but rather explode the issue onto a larger, even more unsightly, and uncomfortable controller!
GOOOO NINTENDO!
You have become much more than just irrelevant in the last decade...
