I have never seen or heard of this store or even know of any gamers that has used it.
Limiting the game to digital only will definitely hurt the sales. Digital distribution is a good thing but not if its the only thing. They already lost all the sales from impulse buys with just this move.

On a side-note: Origin allows CD-key registration of EA games you already own. There is an age-cuttoff though. Friend informed me that Bad Company 1 and 2 was claimed and credited by his Steam CD keys, but Battlefield 2 is a no-go...
