That doesn't leave much of a threshhold for any random frame rate drops, but it's most definitely playable.

Think a lot of people will be relieved to know this.

The majority of console games run at these spec, so I really don't see an issue. Obviously I'm going to get it for PC rather than PS3.

Edit: I don't think most PC owners will be getting 60 fps at 1080p anyway, I know I wont, but its still proper 1080p.

BooM! Finally the console peeps can get with the times! I have nothing against consoles (I own a Xbox) but the fact remains that their tech is out dated and limiting game development on the PC platform due to devs having to go cross platform for the sales and the profits.

Gimme BF3 in all it's PC glory please. Will be done with new PC build by then. Roll on Oct 25th, roll on!

30 fps. Ouch. Drops below 60 are noticeable on PC already...30 is a slideshow.

30 fps = an update every 33ms. So for someone with fast reactions, the person will act on frame 6 to what he/she saw on frame 1. Slideshow.

30 is not a slide show. The fact that most console games run at that clip is proof enough. When it starts dipping below 30 is when it becomes apparent, less than 20 and the slideshow begins.

60fps is not the be all of every game out there. It does help for aiming in MP, especially on PC, but it's otherwise just for bragging rights.

They could also decrease many other effects in order for it to reach 30fps.

I just can't see myself playing a game with so few pixels per inch as on a TV screen... I would die, especially at 720p.
"multiplatform"... the word that ruins games for PC gamers.

Console gamers shouldn't really see this as an 'issue' because it's just the way it is...they aren't capable of running anything better and that's the way it is and will be.
