inFamous 2 review (MyGaming)

I am glad to hear it is pretty much the same. Loved 1 especially the control system, was just so easy and smooth.

Will pick this up when I have cleared my back log.

I just started playing inFamous 1, that I got from Anonymous, and I quite like the game...

I have found one thing though... it seems to be quite difficult???? I am playing on normal (the default difficulty) and I die quite a lot, was wondering if I may be missing something, or is the game just really rather difficult?

In certain parts it was difficult, but otherwise it's alright.
Make sure that you got the right difficulty on cause when my friend played it they matched his skill level to normal difficulty but when I played it they matched it to hard, and I had no idea it was on hard until I really started struggling somewhere in the middle of the game.

Make sure to upgrade your damage resistance. When you are low on health you can drain electricity which heals you as well. I finished it on hard and some parts will be massively frustrating (specifically 2 boss battles). As you get better at the game it does become much easier.

On topic, I loved Infamous and definitely want to give the sequel a try. :)

I actually for once can say that I found Infamous 1 on normal freaking easy.

Yeah, my second play through as infamous was a cake walk, even the bosses were pushovers. The game does reward skill. I'm hoping Infamous 2 is the same. :)

One thing I didn't go into detail about in this review is the difficulty: it's pretty damn easy to die until you get to grips with the combat. I found myself using sneaky distance attacks until better powers were unlocked.
