    Default Possible PS3 Issue

As everyone knows I love my consoles and to this effect I've noticed a straange occurence on my PS3
Its a Phat Release Model (60 GB) with the card Reader etc

When I play Killzone through my HDMI conneciton as soon as the cutscene at the end of The Stahl Arms ends the console basically locks up and sits on a blank screen.

When I run the same level through the component Video Outputs, it works fine though
I've tested Multiple TV's and all do the same thing, different HDMI Cables, same result

Now does anyone know if this is a known issue with the game or the model of PS3?

My brother mentioned a similar issue on my PS3 Slim when he was playing Killzone 2. I did experience a lock up on Killzone 3 once, but never again. I'm not sure what it is about the Killzone titles that causes this.

I had similar issues with Assassins Creed. 1 and 2 did it. Not much in total I think it froze up about 5 times....
But NOOO other game thus far. I played KillZone 2 through without any issues.

Hmmm that is a very weird issue but I don't think it is your PS3. It's probably Killzone causing the issue, because there are PS3 games around that do freeze up sometimes.

Thank guys, I find it strange that it only does it with Killzone 3 though, 2 plays fine and so do other games
I was concenred that my disk might be defective though but I have verified that it is fine, so might be a video decoding issue on the HDMI output for cutscenes

hmm, lol, time to upgrade PS3's I guess
