Opposing hacking groups aside, LulzSec will eventually get taken down (sometime in the near or very distant future). They've simply made a public embarrassment of way too many companies and institutions, they're beyond the point of no return. They've said more than once that they know the clock is ticking.

Apart from all that, the fact that they released information belonging to the people they claim to serve (the gaming community), endangering their personal information and privacy, was massively stupid and was bound to earn them emnity from some groups. That's what bragging gets you.

As for whether the person they grabbed had anything to do with it or not, chances are he was involved, and they just won't admit it.
