Thread: Hackers threaten renewed attacks against Sony

Well well...it seems that this whole Hotz debacle has brought the hackers into the lime light. Something that has been going on for years has been brought into media focus and many groups will come out to the party now.

The letter I expect, as stated above, was translated. Most likely some east European language etc. As reprehensible as this all is I must admit I am curious to watch the aftermath, if any, that this will have on Sony.

    Let the games begin gentleman.

The way I see it, Sony is Japanese with a Japanese CEO.

The Japanese wont back down either and will continue to under estimate these hackers as little miscreants.

I just want to comment on one of the things someone said on the front page:

its amazing how people just assume the writer of that letter is a native english speaker. I mean, really? much more than half the hackers in the world are not native english speakers. however, many people are required/forced to learn english because its the language of the business world. please think before you put it out there
    I agree.

Just because they don't understand English doesn't mean their stupid. This is going to be messy and you know it. I'm also quite interested to see what's going to happen with Sony. They better bring their best game, otherwise I rate they're going to be raped a little.

    NNNOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PLEASE leave Sony alone.... they did not arrest the wrong man, Scotland Yard did!!! Take down their website if you have to!!!

Unfortunately, this character was a cohort in the crime... If I rent out a factory to known criminals where I know they store weapons, then I am also in trouble when the 5-0 gets the word... the same thing happened here.

I seriously do hope that cinema-worthy destruction takes place against Sony, in a strike more massive than ever before seen.
Servers literally on fire and people committing sepuku right on top of the burnt-out server ashes!

But in reality, I have to be honest and admit that I don't think it's gonna be all that...

Looks like Sony might be caught between a rock and a hard place BUT they have been braver enough to take these hackers on...so well done to them for doing so...ever though it's cost them millions. (Or ever billions?!)
