Anything you dont want eaten - put it away. The tabasco works - so far I haven heard of a dog who likes it :P Also when a dog is digging holes in the garden - in the same place, break some chillies into it. It stops them fast. :P

I actually just might give that a shot. Like a drop or two perhaps, yeah?
    That's what she said.

Thanks for the advice, I have two bottles at home. I am going to give it a spin and see what happens. What about material things, like the base of my bed (which is white)

I think you can actually get sprays from pet shops that stops dogs from eating/peeing on stuff. That might be a good alternative to having tabasco coloured bedding

I found those sprays - especially the ones from vondi (I think its them - the holistic pet shops) are useless. I am still looking for a way to keep cats out of our yard.

good luck with that. Cats tend to like wandering. Scaring them usually works for a while. i have found rolled newspaper flys quite well and doesnt hurt them when you throw them with it.

Wenzie tbh Im over being nice to the cat, it belongs to the neighbour, we have talked about it and they are not keeping him in at night.

We are fine with him wandering during the day. But the evenings I want to sleep and this cat does not stop screaming - every night as well.

I have sprayed it with the garden hose, thrown light balls at it and it wont leave, it just moves to a different spot. So far the only thing that keeps him gone is when I wake up at 2am, take Vikki and she gets to chase him.

Get yourself a spray bottle (Plastics warehouse they are R5) and mix water with a drop or 5 of citronella oil / bloekom oil. You can use this mix to get dogs to stop fighting, also then later use this on spots you don;t want them to go. Works really well, breaks up fighting dogs instantly.
