BF3, BioShock Infinite and Skyrim sharing the spoils. BF3 and Infinite will definately be games I buy this year. Skyrim not so much, but then I'm not a big RPG fan.

I agree more to this list than to some of the other game review sites (ign/gt). The next 2 years is going to be good for gaming, the titles i look forward to the most: BF3, ME3 and Infinite (in that order ).

    Best Original Game
    BioShock Infinite
(Irrational Games/2K Games for PC, PS3, Xbox 360)

    Best of Show
    BioShock Infinite
(Irrational Games/2K Games for PC, PS3, Xbox 360)

    Best Role Playing Game
    The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
(Bethesda Game Studios/Bethesda for PC, PS3, Xbox 360)
If E3 nominations/awards weren't just a glorified popularity contest, I would be so totally upset. Fortunately, I'm not. I don't trust these "critics" one bit...

Honestly, I think the new Tomb Raider game or Uncharted 3 should've grabbed best of show and how the HELL did Skyrim get "best RPG?" Mass Effect 3, Dark Souls and Old Republic spit in the face of what Bethesda call an "RPG."

As for "Best Original Game" and as loathe as I am to ever give credit to Ubisoft these days, From Dust knocked most of those bloody nominations into the water. BioShock's "originality" borders on boring.

E3: the best indication of whether or not your marketing tactics have paid off, proven by critics...

Maybe this is why BF3 went nuts like that.
