Why's this thing so cheaply made, so now he's going to fix it himself heatgun and thermal paste FTW!! it's like Mcguyver, you know he;ll have those things on him. it took me 5mins to open the xbox, yes i also tried it. a kid could do it, its that easy

...and now i wait to get k*k'd out because of my comment...

    Default Hear hear...

I had the Xbox 360 Pro 60 Gig console and bought the Gears of War 1 & 2 and loved playing it every mintute of the day until it started overheating and freezing up during gameplay so I decided to buy a PS3 which I was very much against but got it for a good price and Oh my G*d. Now my Xbox360 is my door stop. never gain will I ever go back to Xbox plus the PS3's versatility is great as I can now watch my blue rays through my HD LCD in high def... So much for Xbox having no blue ray capabilities and my PS3 is reliable for a change.

    Love my PS3 :-)

Relax buddy I am not here to pick a fight. Just wanted to give my 2 cents

From owing both I can safely say that PS3 is more reliable and very versatile (blue ray) and I better components but Xbox is more fun to play, their games are waaaay cheaper and it's cheaper to upgrade so I guess it is a 50/50 situation. Both have their pro's and cons but I just personally prefer the PS3

I thought PS3 and Xbox360 games are pretty equal in price?

I've had my 360 since the day it hit the shelves in London, picked one up on release date (never seen so much chaos in my life btw). It's still going strong with no issues, I just lack the bigger HDD upgrade so i'm still sitting with the 20gb. I would love to get a PS3.. all these recidulous exclusive titles make it hard to enjoy all the great games that are console/pc specific

    Default You are all right...

Yeah I guess the Xbox is more costly to upgrade, I meant when I had mine it was simply a case of clip in the hard drive and go as my hard drive was fried and had to replace it with a new 120Gig ... kinda like plug and play scenario...LOL whereas with my PS3 I have to send it in to have the new 160 Gig HDD fitted as i wouldn't want to damage mine from doing it myself

I think the PS3 games are still marginally more expensive though

I bought Time Crisis with gun and sensors and that game cost me a grand. The same with my "Brothers in Arms" but I guess that is because it is a limited edition

Dude even a monkey can replace a PS3 hard drive, the worst thing you can do is strip the screws.
