Im an xbox 360 owner as well, but can agree that the ps3 is a better console on all fronts, fanboi's can have their little wars, but only time will tell. If microsoft adopts a new console early on then the ps3 will win this generation, and if sony adopts early microsoft will win, it all just depends on who supports their current gen console longer, and the whole bluray vs dual layer debate is in my opinion idiotic as well cause the 7th gen era ends in like two years, even if microsoft did adopt blu ray it would be a terrible business move cause the xbox is already almost four years old. You can draw parallels between the snes vs genesis and ps3 vs xbox 360 console wars. For anyone interested the parallels are as follows:
Sega released a console over a year earlier than nintendo.
Microsoft released a console almost over a year earlier than sony.
Sega released the sega cd add on in 1991 which was ultimately a failure.
Microsoft released the hd dvd add on in 2006 which was ultimately a failure.
The genesis though having inferior hardware, lead sales for most of the 4th gen console wars in the north american and european markets, never really making an impact in japan.
The xbox 360 though having inferior hardware, has and is still current leading in sales in north america and europe but falls far behind in japan.
Sega ultimately lost the console wars cause it stopped supporting the genesis in 1995 while nintendo pushed on with the snes until 1997.
So IMHO the winner of this gen, as i said in my last post, will be determined by how both companies handle the launches of their next gen consoles. I could go on with parallels between sega and ms, theres quite alot actually, but im too lazy at the moment

No, quad-posting is enough, it taught us all a lesson.
You have an Edit option in the bottom right-hand corner of each post you make, right?
Please use it. Don't be shy.
Thanks buddy.
What the mind can conceive, it can achieve.
Sorry about that dude
Total Sales:
Wii – 34.55 million, as of 30 September 2008
Xbox 360 – 28 million, as of 1 January 2009
PlayStation 3 – 21.3 million, as of 20 February 2009
North America according to NPD group
Wii - 17,521,000
Xbox 360 - 13,857,400
PlayStation 3 - 6,790,000
There happy? And now lets have the stats for mandrax use!? Just because something is selling well doesn't mean it's good. As far as I know Microsoft pedaled RROD consoles as sales. So their actual number can be as lowered with about 2-5million units.
I find it surprising that the xbox 360 is still leading sales in north america, considering that most americans could probably afford a ps3 or both consoles
Fear is what keeps us here
