Call of Duty 4 Question
I can buy a Call of Duty 4 serial key. A legal one.
I can also get the Call of Duty files but then it's not the actual cd.
Will I then be able to play online? There aren't any CD checking or anything is there?
Basically I want to know if it would be alright to buy a serial key.
Well apparently you can copy someone elses CD and buy an orginal license for it which im assuming you can do from activision's website or something like that... I know a couple people that have done that and everything works out 100%Originally Posted by Solitude

AFAIK, you can copy over a friends client no problem
then in the options menu either game settings or multiplayer settings you can enter in your serial key
why dont you just buy the game now that zaps has stock. For R189 bucks its not much, AAAAAAAAND, buying a CDkey is just as expensive as buying the game.
Go check online. Some of the sites charge full retail price, 39-50 us Dolla for just the key.
Nope I had a thread about it. Zaps show it on their site but when you order it they tell you that it's not in stock.
The best I've seen is to buy Call of Duty 4 from WantItAll and then using the R100 voucher that MyGaming members get.
However I found a guy who is selling his STEAM account plus a Call of Duty 4 serial key and that's why I started this thread.

COD4 on sale at Take2 once again... Not sure if they'll be running out of stock once again, but this seems to be the "Game of the year" version - not sure if it's a "classics" re-issue sort of story...
