Afrihost launched another ADSL promotion, this time offering prepaid ADSL data at much lower prices than other ISPs

Does this mean I can get a 1mb line from Telkom, and just pay Afrihost R15 per gig and get full 1mb speed?

Apparently it's unshaped...Read in the article somewhere...Bought 2gigs yesterday. Only thing is, it's only valid for 3months after u purchase. Expires after then

But why am I paying a shit load to Mweb Uncapped Shaped, and getting horrid speeds, when I can pay R15 per gb to Afrihost Prepaid Unshaped? I only use like 30gb a month.

well if you using 30gb a month you shouldnt evens consider uncapped really :-/ there are way better deals around if you know how much cap you using a month especially if its under 100gb

Hmmm my interest is piqued. What would you suggest? Afrihost capped/prepaid?

I see Afrihost capped 20gb is R380 though. That's bit more than my uncapped atm. Afrihost's R15 prepaid comes to 30gb x R15 = R450.

My uncapped atm costs R219.
