The guy is looking for some way to cheat the systems involved, and get more than what he's paying for.
The end of it, Sir, is No.
Even if you do manage to cheat someone's system, you can be criminally charged for it. Fraud is fraud.
Get over yourself and pay what is needed to get what you need.
Actually Mweb is the fraudulent party.
They advertise their service to me as a 4096 package where I pay R539 per month. Yet I don't even get steam download speeds in excess of 15KB/s. I play Starcraft 2 semi-professionally and i have constant lag because I am not allowed to use my full capacity.
Advertising Product A letting the consumer pay for Product A and giving them a service worse than Product C is fraud.
Bit off topic here, but had a bit strange experience with Mweb lately.
Know all those speed tests? Like speedtest.net, MyBB's speed tests etc. I do those and the results show pretty low speeds, lower than my speed should be for my line BUT I get full speed on mweb's own made speedtest program (they insisted I do the test there). I posted this in the Mweb Uncapped Feedback topic, and a few hours later I was phoned by mweb. They said that I will always get bad speeds on other speed test websites, and it's normal, other than mweb's own one. That's how it works.
Is this true? I don't remember this happening back on my Afrihost account.. I'm not very computer savvy, but this sounds a bit strange.
Gimaru:
Yes, It's quite normal that an on-net speedtest will report better results.
Same as the difference between local gaming servers and international gaming servers, really.
But in essence, all that means is that the larger the difference between the different speedtest, the more unstable the connection and transports really are.
