    I think on most forums, threads should just get auto-locked after 4 weeks of inactivity. Almost like on the gamespot forums (horrible place that they are).

    Well based on the different opinions and feedback I guess I learned one thing.
    When searching a topic, check the date when the topic was started & date for the last reply`s and
    if older than 4? weeks at least stipulate that I`m "restarting up the thread"

    I see nothing wrong with Necro-ing, however usually during competitions some spammers revive old threads and such with comments Like "Yeah I agree" or "Lol!"

    Replies formulated like that in no way adds to the discussion, so it could have just been left out...
