I wouldn't rule it out just yet. If developers pour enough love into it, it will do well. "Build it and they will come"
I agree with Crytek. The problem is that it's an expensive piece of equepment that you have to carry with you. I'd rather carry around a smartphone. It's ideal for kids though but will parents buy such expensive toys for them? When they already want said smartphone, computers, consoles and so forth?
The only thing putting me off the Vita is the price. At the moment, the pricing is putting it a little under the PS3. The PS3 is already quite expensive, as I have seen people buying Xboxes purely because they are a bit cheaper.
It does seem like an awesome little device though. Would definitely want to play with it (provided that it belongs to something else).
