Abuse of The News Comments
I am sick of my nick being used by other people to comment on news articles, So from now on, I will only use the forum to comment on articles till mygaming brings in a decent verification system.
So if you see Tpex commenting on articles in the news section its not me, but some asshole scumbag troll.

Doesn't sound good. I was rather shocked when I commented and it didn't require a login.
Yeah, I'm busy writing a blog page for a site now and I'm making good use user verification before comments are allowed to be submitted.

Also not going to use my forum handle for posting comments on the site again. At least not until the new login system goes up. Somebody started using mine to post comments under my nick again. Probably the same douche who did it with Tpex's nick.

Just do what I and some other people do: post under Anonymous/Anon. There's no individual to impersonate and any one Anonymous can be any other, thereby the comment's message is taken purely at face-value; no strings attached. Works well.
But yeah, it does ruin the entire feel of the community outside these forums.
Same happened to me a while ago, hasn't happened since. So I never comment in articles, I rather comment in the thread that gets created in relation to the article.

We don't. I believe wheunis said that he was Hurdur in the comments section, unless I'm mistaken? So, why would wheunis post as Hurdur in the forum? I smell a trollish impersonator

The comments system needs to be disabled completely IMHO.
Force people to join the forum if they want to comment and at least that way we can moderate stuff.
