THQ recently released a patch for Red Faction Guerilla which is 3.2 gigs and has to be downloaded from a third party site...
The problem most users faced was that it was unplayable on Core 2 Duo machines (even though it's stated as a minimum requirement). The game engine drew it's power directly from the CPU (or something) which made it playable only on Quad or i7...
Then there was a patch for the fact that it crashes during authentication and gives the user a run time error when trying to launch the damn thing.
It was at that point I said fk it - R350 down the drain and THQ can go to hell
I sure as hell wasn't - the only thing rolling on the floor was the DVDrofl![]()
pffft. torchlight v 1.15 is out and.... you have to get the game as a whole again
i would advise those who have not get got torchlight and want it to go the steam route. at least then when we have local you wouldn't have to pay for the download each time around 500-550meg.

I've started seeing tha consoles are also getting heavy with the patches, that was supposed to be one of the very few advantages it had over the PC. Now whats the point?
The singularity is about to explode! Weapons are at maximum.
Game bugs will get fixed and patched across all platforms.
Platform specific bugs/optimizations will obviously only get patched on the related platforms.
