Hey there. Got a call 5 minutes ago from Powercare. They received the stock, packing today, shipping tomorrow, and I should have it by Thursday/Friday. Yeeehaaa!
I agree however on not throwing away the Xbox... that would be silly, but I'll definitely see when I'll be able to get a PS3.
Power supply not compatible!
Oh happy days! I just got my Xbox! And guess what... the power supply isn't compatible. Seems they sent me an Arcade console that isn't compatible with the Pro power supply... who knew. Make sure you look out for this!!!
They said they'll send me a new power supply next week... like they said they'd replace my Xbox "next week" and it took two months.

Um.....why should the two use seperate power supplies? The hardware is the same, innit?

Seems it's not a Arcade vs. Pro issue, but a simpla matter of when it was made. I had a 2008 console, they replaced it with a mid-2007 model. *sigh* I don't know why hey. See here.
weird :/ when i sent my one away numerous, i never sent away my cabling with it. they only wanted the console. but weird, wth they replace it with a 2k7 model?!?

Well, i think it's a better choice @ the end of the day. Sometimes i just don't feel like playing games from a hard days work and just chill and watch a movie on blu-ray(which is pretty damn awesome)
So i'm happy with the games i have for it, that and i got a PSP recently.
I haven't done the whole PSN thing though, so i can't comment on that. But my one friend is on the PSN and he says it's pretty good.
Honestly i just got tired of the whole XBOX Live not being available in this country. Take for example the GOW2 DLC debacle, now because we not in the XBOX Live community we have to abide to the German Law. Seriously who thought of all this s**t. It's enough to make any gamer crazy.
Once we officially on the XBOX Live list, then yes. I'll re-consider purchasing another XBOX360, by that time we'll have the XBOX360+ or whatever they decide to call it @ launch
