Default Discuss Sucker Punch aquisition in the forums

    Sony buys Sucker Punch Productions

But will they use this power for good or evil?

sony's first party line has been solid and it doesn't seem to be affecting the quality of the titles

they seem to keep to realistic periods between releases (thus far)

if they keep it like it is. i don't see much wrong with it.

only when they start going down the route of one title each year then things get wonky

    Play games, not platforms

Very smart move by Sony. Secure a future with a company that has released some pretty good games.

I think it's a great move and one that Microsoft really could do well in following. This is the reason Sony has the best first party titles.

Keeping their guns closer to themselves. These studios have made some real hits for the PS3 market and it looks like they will keep doing so, just under a bigger Sony banner.
    That's what she said.

I have... Its a good game but does have a few technical glithes on the Xbox but non worth mentioning out loud cause it would seem i went looking for them whwen i didnt. I like the series but wont buy and Xbox just for that. As for Epic Game Studios i dont think Microsoft owns them, cause they make multi platform titles aswell. So if they really wanted they could port the title over but microsoft would make a legal battle for the game and destroy the studio instead. Correct me if i am wrong, but i dont think Microsoft owns the IP to Gears of War either.

BTW Gears of war on PC looked better than the Xbox version.

I own a PS3, and i think Sony keeping Sucker Punch to themselve is good, provided they leave them to creating good games like Insomiac does.

Like ZAP said, Epic games are not owned by Microsoft (I doubt they ever will be).

Oh and I have Gears of War for Windows...

Oh god, I thought this was gonna be about that shitty movie where the girls are in a (spoiler alert) brothel/mental institution/war zone and none of it makes any damn sense.

But cool, Sony will soon rule the world. Now that they're not being hounded by lolssec (I'm not gonna spell it correctly because that guy's a dick) they seem to be making some good moves.
Couscous; the food so nice they named it twice
