With the technological leaps phones have made over the last decade, the need for a portable gaming device (which doesn't do much else besides gaming) is surely dying out. People with smartphones will rather get their quick portable gaming fix on their Iphones, Androids etc devices then go out and buy a gaming device like a 3DS. Sales of the 3DS are proof of this.
Sony should take note and do something really special with their Vita.
