Blizzard announces free StarCraft 2 Starter Edition

Sounds freakin sweet, will definitely be getting this. Hopefully this will run smoothly on my pc as it's not particularly a "high-end" system

Anyone know what the download size of this is?

13GB+ I think. Not worth it considering the limitations IMO.
 
Wish was released few weekends ago(had some friends over and used the guest accounts cards to play).
 
Marketing 101 baby.
This should encourage a crapload of newcomers to SC to want more once they've had a taste and fork out for the full version.

It will run on machines other than the 'high-end' you refer to. Not as well though. Turn the specs down and it should run okay.
