Caw, I couldn't remember my old/original EVE account or characters or anything, so I had to start a new account.
Anyway, now that I'm back in EVE, was wondering if there are still any South-African Player Corps out there that are active at all?
I'm into occasional light salvage piracy, Ratting, and general PvE fun. As my new account is only a few days old, I can't really be all that useful to endgame or anything just yet, but gimme a month or two, I'm sure I can get a Tengu out of it...
I'm not sure if there are any SA exclusive corps anymore. Most of us split ways as the game politics developed. I have a corp called Kador Rookie Academy, which is aimed at new players. We have a number of 5 to 8 year old characters who are teaching the new guys.
Unfortunately there are only 2 people from SA in it, but all the other guys are really chilled and we luckily have no dickheads in our corp (pretty rare :P).
Our goal is to train for 12 months, build up our numbers to over 200 players and then invade nullsec to try gain some bit of respect and territory.
Contact me ingame if your interested in joining us.
I resubbed, so I'm also looking for a corp to join. It has to be casual, though. Last time I played we kept getting war-decced and the corp CEO would flip his lid if any new players dared to leave a station.
Well, I've started my own corp. Just an exceedingly casual corp for now. Didn't want to keep paying taxes of over 10% to NPC corps.
For now I'm going to focus on mining. If anyone feels like joining, corp's name is Zewp Industries. Take note, however, that it really is a casual corp. I'm not going to sink too much time or money into it until I'm much more established in the game.
