    Default Non PC Games

    Hey all,

What games do you play other than pc/console games?

I enjoy playing role-playing games (Pathfinder, Mutants & Masterminds 3rd Ed & Rogue Trader)

Also at the moment I'm really enjoying the boardgame "Pandemic" pity everyone on the planet keeps dying though.

Other boardgames I enjoy are "Battlestar Galactica", "Betrayal at the House on the Hill" & "Lord of the RIngs; The Confrontation" and the list goes on and on.

    Game on!

Only things I like are crosswords and puzzles which doesn't require a PC or console.

Has anyone played Settlers of Catan (board game)? A friend of mine has it, and it's actually a lekker jol (probably depending on who you play it with though)

You build a colony, and earn resources and trade with each other, in a way kind of like small scale Civilisation on a board

I have a fairly large collection of board games. Some favourites - Twilight Struggle, Dominant Species, Roads & Boats, Space Hulk, Nexus Ops and Blue Moon.

Settlers of Catan is a very popular game that simply does nothing for me. Tried it several times.

Well like I say, it probably depends on who you're playing it with, and perhaps how much you've had to drink

There's an online version of the board game here

It's definitely not that it's a trading game because I have others that are and find those much better.

Anyway I have so many board games I doubt I'm likely to play Catan again. Although there are some other variants, like Elasund, that I'll still give a go.
