I must admit that this always on the internet thing is going to bite them in the butt, 1st people not going to buy this game if they HAVE to be online, also DRM I believe actually hurt the industry more than protect their intellectual property. DRM annoy legit players not pirates. Pirates download precracked games with no DRM. The poor legit sap has to suffer with possible disc scratches that make his game void, online DRM that is a nightmare, and then limited amount of activations, as for my self I loved the 1st diablo games and exp. I still have my special addition bundle, I will also buy diablo 3. but I will first wait to find out if they can hack it for offline, then I'll play my legit game offline, even if the hack is a few more gigs, as I don't have fast or unlimited internet. So I will support them by buying their product but I don't want their DRM
It all seems like a good idea until you get cut off mid game because the connection drops.
Was extremely frustrating with Prince of Persia, my router was on the fritz and kept dropping the pppoe connection which meant every so often the game would get interrupted until the connection was back up. The only saving grace was the frequent save points.
