Assassin's Creed - Becoming a cash cow?

I expected Brotherhood to be a cash in on AC2's success. Boy was I wrong and because I was wrong I have faith that Revelations is going to be very good. So no, as long as they keep putting in the type of effort they have been thus far I will not classify the series as a cash cow, unlike the CoD games.

I must say I am enjoying the series. AC Brotherhood got a bit tedious at the very end, but thats because I did every single missions I could find...

And I will be placing my pre-order for Revelations at the end of the month. There is just one problem with November, too many awesome games being released then, where am I going to find the time

I'm loving the AC series although the thing that annoyed me was that by the time I could play each game on PC, they were already talking about the next one and showing trailers. Kinda made it feel relentless, but that's just because I HAVE to play each new one. Don't want to miss out on the developing story!

Huge fan of the series. Brotherhood was an awesome game, got mine in CE. Would have loved to get a platinum but couldn't get further than about 90% completion. The multiplayer was also really innovative. Will definitely be getting the next installment.

Oh, and as for the 'cash cow' thing...

As long as the milk remains sweet and they improve upon the game in each installment, the series could continue on for a few good years before it starts going sour.

I must say, AC2 was an outstanding game. It's one of the top 5 games in my collection, by far! (No, I don't have only 5 games ).

Once I started playing I couldn't stop and I HAD to finish it. Epic story, awesome characters and some of the best gameplay ever. I'll definitely get Brotherhood soon and probably AC 3 as well.

No matter what AC game gets released I'll always be amped to see the next - because it's always better than the previous one! so I'm not really complaining about it

I saw one of those AC novels in the book shop the other day. I think I should see if I can find them in ebook format, might be worth a read

AC might be becoming a cash cow much like CoD, but unlike CoD, they aren't stripping the game down more and more with each releace, so far it's only gotten better with every game bespite the alway online incident. And it'll be one I'd be more than happy to support, baring they don't go and do something stupid like the alway online system again.
