I love dota, but if there was a choice I would go for Diablo 3, since it has more gameplay than just 1 map which dota has.

The choice is quite simple, Diablo 3. Why? Because I have DoTA, HoN and LoL to fill that space while I wait for DoTA 2, I have nothing to fill the Diablo space.

Will also get both, but I'm A LOT more excited about DOTA 2.
My social life will be over when it gets released :/
Dota 2 without a doubt
Thing is, with Dota you can play till early in the morning, game after game, but with games like WOW and Diablo 3 you can get bored after 2 hours. The game play is too slow. Which is not a bad thing in it self but just not same level of constant excitement as Dota IMO

People think of these eureka moments and my feeling is that they tend to be little things, a little realisation and then a little realisation built on that.
Diablo never really Let's up at also you're always busy fighting someone or something. Difficult to get bored IMHO. In any case Diablo 3 for me as well.
