    You must really enjoy gaming to play these difficulties...I don't like to be alive for only 3 minutes at a time

    Has anyone here finished Diablo II on hardest difficulty?

    I gave up with the impossible modes. I got quite far in hard mode though in Diablo II, but never completed it if I remember right.

    Awesome news! Most games these days are WAY too easy. It gets boring real quick. I loved playing Demon's Souls, it was hard but that was a big part of the fun - always trying new strategies, always having to be on your guard no matter what. I hate it when you play a game on the hardest difficulty and all you do is destroy everything in your path.

    I hate having to up the dificulty to make a game more interesting - because usually that just means the enemy shoots straighter and for more damage, and you get less cash etc.. I can't even think of any games where the puzzles become harder if you increase the difficulty.

    That said, I usually start a game on whatever is 1 level above normal, be it veteran, Chieftain or hard or whatever. Seems that usually keeps me on my toes.
