Currently busy with Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light.
That is an awesome co-op game.

The industry really needs to stop making a distinction between girl gamers and guy gamers. Seriously. A gamer is a gamer is a gamer.

I agree with Graal. More gaming is done by guys, but a gamer is a gamer. It all comes to preferences in genres.

    Dead on!

My wife only plays FPS just like me (what a win)

But its all personal choice and a gamer is a gamer.

So, I know this post is old - I just stumbled across it in Google and registered so I could give my opinion...

I read the article linked in the OP and I have to say I really don't understand what the Silicon Sister dev team are on about. They say "what we’re getting is a female wrapper around a game that’s really designed for men."

    Um, what?

It sounds more to me that THEY don't know what lady gamers want. As a women, the only thing different from a man's desire for the same types of games I like (RPG, sandbox etc) would be to play as a female character. Fortunately most games have that already so I can't complain. Some people just like to create 'sexism' problems where there are none.
