As I understand it there isn't an expiry date on the code so, yes, you can keep it for the following year.

saw the sa bit, that was why i replied initially way i did not reading everything out of excitement, applied my discounted voucher on the 12 month gold sub, waited till 1pm (websense block xbox.com) and finally applied, saw it work
