Default Team Fortress 2 on Steam

    Hey all,

I started downloading/installing TF2 on Steam then realized that it's a 10+Gig download, I'm not on uncapped so I have cancelled the install.

Is it possible to get a steam backup of the game from someone who has it and use that to install the game on my pc?

    Game on.

Thanks for the offers guys, I think I phrased my question wrong.

I am getting a backed up copy of TF2 from my brother, is it possible for me to install it under my profile on steam?

Yes, your brother will have the option to backup Team Fortress 2. All you need to do is run that backup file and Steam will do the rest. I have done this myself. You have nothing to worry about.
