I know it's a long shot to expect hackers to have any form of collective consciences. (Not consciousness)

If you're going to pillage a gaming company, go for the ones who screw over customers *cough* bobby Kotick *cough*, instead of hitting the ones who actually release decent games and customer satisfaction.

For anyone who gets these Steam keys... don't use it lest you violate Steam's terms of service and have your account banned. It ain't worth it!

    Sad that this happened too.

    Corsair Carbide Spec-01, MSI Z97Z SLI Krait ed., Seasonic S12II 520w, Gigabyte Geforce GTX 970, Mushkin Blackline 8gb, i5 4690k, 1 TB

You're missing the point. The problem is not whether anybody else uses it but rather whether they kill all the keys on that list (which include the Mygaming ones).

Valve can check the keys stolen against those they have sold.

Kick the correctness into their panties. You have a good point there. Go after all the guys who make life difficult for us okes who like to play games. Maybe that'll keep the rest in check

I see what you mean. If they ban our accounts will MyGaming be able to help us?

I found this on Steam's twitter page.

@Steam_Support Is it true people are getting their accounts disabled over the Dirt 3 issue? Most people got the key from friends & w unaware
    Steam Support
@Asagpol No. Not everything you hear on the internet is true.

Perhaps they will not disable steam accounts?
