That sure is one hell of a lot of fixes. Oh well, luckily they have fixed it...

This may explain the low rating from the Eurogamer review.

As long as its a patch and not DLC I don't care, I'm glad to see though they are fixing the game and not charging gamers for the fixes...like some other idjits.

    ALARMIST HEADLINES ARE ALARMIST.

Saying software is unfinished just because it has some bugs shows a complete lack of knowledge about software development. They are still fixing bugs in TF2 and that's like 5yrs old, so I guess that's also unfinished. Not sure how this classifies as a MASSIVE LAUNCH DAY PATCH since there no mention of patch size and just judging from the fixes it will probably be just a regular launch day patch of a couple MB.

Indeed. Charging for it would be a dick move.

One thing though...I know that this has online functionality but I have also read that it can be played as single player...what if these okes who buy the game don't have internet? I know a lot of people who don't play games online or people who have no internet to speak of...will they be playing a broken game?

Saw on RPS that it was the Dev Debug version.

In any case they should and must fix the problems.
