true, as i decided to sell my ps3 due not wanting to pay for 800+ for games...

...although i must be honest, i have no idea what ps2 games cost

PS2 games are still fairly priced as opposed to the PS3, they're about R400-
R500. You almost have to wait until the PS3 games are on sale before you can buy them and not feel ripped off

Thats inline with Xbox 360 prices as well, also if you shop around you pick up on some great deals.

Errrrr, do you honestly own a PS3?
PSone compatibility was never an issue, heck you can even download FF7 from the PSN store right now.

I've already d/led FF VII from the PSN but to be honest I've never tried to use my old PSone discs, also my PSone was NTSC...
