That HDMI to ethernet seems like quite an awesome idea. Could I simply hook up an HDMI to my current network and share it to a screen in the kitchen for example? Or does it have to be on its own separate network?

It's not actually over ethernet. It's over CAT5 or CAT6 cabling. It's just a cable, not on a network.Originally Posted by HoboMincer
