Seriously, that's just funny, what was the coder thinking (or not thinking?).

    Oh, and...

the company accidentally released a console build version of Dead Island onto Steam
I'm quite sure it was the dev build that was accidentally released on Steam and not the console one as the article suggests. :/

    This is an over-reach.

First of all, if you're digging through millions of lines of game-code just to FIND something to take offense over - you really are the cesspool of our current age. I mean really... there's not enough else to bitch about already?

Second - isn't digging through game-code technically against the EULA/ToS/etc? I'm pretty sure it's generally none of your goddamn business what goes on inside a game's code unless it's been released as open-source/etc.

    So guess what...
I don't give a flying rat's ass what a developer calls or labels ANYTHING inside the code.
As long as it stays inside the code...

The comment is inappropriate, it doesn't matter where it was.

I had to disable comments on the front page due to misogynistic troll infestation.

Im not sure about this game, but do you get like the consol (I.E. like valve games) where it displays what the game is loading?

Lolololol, when I code I name my vars a variety of things. From pew to curse words if its doesn't work ect depending on my mood. Code can likes to be what it wants. Its not intended for a wider audience that's why you get the UI. At least is wasn't get back into the kitchen :P By making a big fuzz out of these kinds of stuff your empowering people to be sexist. If no one gave a fook it wouldn't be a issue.
