And that's the thing about portable devices that you really want to excel in. Battery life is a huge issue because I know even with my iPod when I'm playing an addictive game like angry birds or watching a movie it pretty much chows the battery up :/

3-5 hours aint that bad considering how many things are powered on that battery, yes its not long but if the visuals are great and the games good have two batteries for long trips doesnt seem that bad, if its not over priced ofcourse.

I am also waiting for this hopefully if other game dont make me broke by the time this comes out i will purchase it almost immediately.

Guess that hardware must really be a power hog... I only game for 2 hours or so at a time so not really an issue- I'm sure they'll be car chargers available

that battery seems to be normal if you compare the specs to a smartphone, other than iphone (thats just a beast when it comes to battery life) ... but the "almost 3-hour recharge" is not a feasible option for me

The battery life is sufficient(-ish?), but yeah, depending on the charging options, I'll see what my budget says come release day in SA. 5 hours is quite a lot if you look at what's all being crammed into that lil' beast.

you guys notice that UMD is out and NVG Card is in ... so im guess there will be flash carts similar to the ones for NDS soon after the release ...

My PSP didn't last much longer. Another awesome toy for the Gautrain rides. Also Uncharted: Golden Abyss. Will have it.
