Battlefield 3 open beta date announced

We will be doing multi build testing througout the Beta already if BC2's Beta was anything to go by
Like I said, a LOT of work going on behind the scenes

i actually never participated in the BC2 beta

can you divulge any details? any points or things you noted about that beta? outcomes of the testing etc? disasters avoided?

With regards to the BC2 Beta
It was the single most dedication by a developer to the upcoming launch of a title that I have ever been part of
The DICE guys worked in shifts to provide RSP's with the level of support required to deploy/test and resolve issues encountered
There were a large number of minor issues that were sorted out over the Beta, cycling through multiple builds we solved almost all bugs before launch

i like the fact they they(DICE) actually work with the RSP they way they do
to me it sounds like DICE have a good work ethic, ensuring they and the RSP dont look like fools come launch day which i could not say the same for GS.com and 3ARC....
