I must say I have also never experienced anything even remotely close to what is described. I really think they should stop using disturbed people for these studies.

When I meet new people I tend to look above thier names to find out who they are, only to find out they have split ends. And when I play with my food, I play Red Alert.

So they randomly selected 42 subjects and all of them have their regular activity modified by the way they play games. Sorry that just seems bogus. Seeing icons above peoples heads...really? Are they sure these people weren't just completely messing with them and talking crap about icons, save points and involuntary imaginary mouse clicking. To me if you had any of those symptoms you are in need of professional psychiatric attention.

    Fuck yeah !!!

I wouldn't say I have experienced anything like these guys, but I will say that I have used a strategy or two I have learned from Call of Duty or Battlefield when I go paintballing !

My BC2 strat is to run around as medic and paddle everyone I can find, not sure that would work out so well IRL.

The general public will be shocked by your behaviour.

I don't know about these "scientific studies" but from my experience many a time have I forced myself not to reload to see the outcome of my choice. Just keep on trucking.
