    It’s a Silicon Graphics/Integraph InterView 28hd96 color monitor. It’s basically a 28-inch CRT that weighed a back-breaking 45kg (99.5lb). Its dimensions were 49.5 x 69.9 x 62cm and its typical power consumption was 180 watts!

Its amazing how far technology has come in less than 20 years. I remember using my first pc running dos. The monitor could only display green. Fun times!

I feel like an anthropologist trying to work out what these ancient people might have used this primitive technology for...

Are those 3D-glasses? Is that a webcam? Are those speakers in that keyboard? Is that a mouse-charger for a cabled mouse?

    Someone feel like edjoomacating me?

I would've killed for that machine back in 95, I still had an ancient 14" 640x480 monitor in 1995, my machine though was an old server chassis crammed with my 486 dx2 66 and 4 megs of RAM.
