The sad thing is that COD MW3 will most likely still out-sell BF3. It's not that MW3 will be bad but it's that there is almost no big differences between the last couple of COD releases. I would still be playing MW2 if it wasn't for the fact that I can't manage to find any SA players on-line any more.
So can't wait for the 29th for beta and maybe the 27th if I win the MyGaming/iGame beta key give-away xD

Nothing is SAD about MW3 outselling BF3. It's just reality. Both games are completely different games and will be epic to play, but unfortunately this time around Activision are actually listening to their fan base and are merging all the good things of COD4, COD5, COD6 and COD7 to make another good product they want everyone to play. Also taking out all the KAK things like lunging, last stand ect.
Can't wait to play both games, but i personally think this won't be the end of COD.

See what matters to publishers is money and sales. not the Quality of game. They don't give a rat's ass. Even EA, if you look at the NFS series its just gone from bad to worse, except for the Excellent Shift series. About every game of their's is just rehash after rehash after rehash. They stopped producing the epic old Origin systems titles because "they don't see it to be profitable". Don't be fooled to much thinking that EA/ Dice really care. They don't. It's all marketing. It goes both ways though, Activision is doing the same as EA in promising all the bells and whistles, listening to the community and what not.
But its allllllllllll marketing trying to reel in players. To get back to my previous point. Mark my words today. BF3 might be the best game in the world, might be leaps and bounds better than MW3 on its own merits, but MW3 will still have a larger player base, and make more profit. This is a GUARANTEE. What does that mean, More Money into the pockets of Acti and IW / Sledgehammer, which inturn means that the egg is actually in EA's face no matter which way you spin it. MW3 may be a complete disaster, but it will outsell BF3 by leaps and bounds, so Activision win AGAIN.
I'm not taking sides though as I will be playing both games, so I won't banter the games, cause to me, while both of them Being FPS, they deliver a different experience, and I can get the best of both worlds by buying and playing both
I was checking out some MW2 vids I took and you know what I missed most about it......? Javelin missles........ I miss Javelin missle man. Those things were awesome.
I would actually like to buy it cause it will be fun to jam once in a while. I still play cod4 / blackops and recently got Cod5 cause it was cheap.
But at that current price tag - forget it. Will pick it up on a special one day.
Honestly would have expected to pay R350 for MW3 and the R450 price tag for BF3.
