    Or you can go for the LG IPS236 which is an LED backlit IPS monitor. IPS panels are superior to the TN panels like that used in the Samsung.

    Cheers for that by the way, I went and picked this one up at New World last Friday for R2500. Loving it so far. Quite an insane experience changing for a box 17" monitor to this 24", I'm still not used to it at all lol.

    I would have IPS over led backlit any day of the month. I had a specialized NEC gaming monitor (R14000 at the time) and I have been spoiled... It is very hard for me to look at a TN monitor the same way.

    Great stuff ! I went from a 17" CRT to a 24" LED myself and I couldn't stop admiring it for about a month
