Default Mineral Oil Submerged PC in Aquarium

I realise that this video is a couple of years old already and most of the hardcore gamers around here has probably seen it already... but this is new to me so I thought I'd post it anyway. Thought it is quite interesting.

No guts, no glory, no brain, same story.

    Cool!

I wonder how long before the fans bork having to cut through that oil?

I assume they help to create some sort of flow to move the warmed oil around.

It would be a real bitch to swap out components though.

Might be a cool way to build a home theatre PC that sits in the lounge because it looks pretty awesome and won't attract dust.

If you check out the link at the end to their newer setup they have a more advanced solution with pumps and radiators and a more purpose built frame to allow to easier access. It's interesting but a LOT of work, far more so than just installing a low flow fan.

I want to try this but i need to find parts i am no longer going to use...It will look cool i wonder if you could passively cool the oil with a second tank... something like those big fish tanks do.
