hahahaha 34K people got pooned in the beta!! :P

I waited for the beta and decided to preorder after I played it... this is a game you need to learn to play, you cant just jump in and run-and-gun. You need to learn spotting and how to play as a squad... Like if you're the last guy alive in your squad you need to consider holding back so that the rest of your guys can spawn on you.

Played the beta on PS3 at my friends place, a few bugs here and there nothing major, the game is rock n roll in game form. The full release is going to blow our pants off.

Totally.... Best feature in the game. Well when you aren't playing hardcore with teamspeak. That is just so much better.

"multiplatform"... the word that ruins games for PC gamers.

I played the beta this past weekend on X360 and I must say I was pretty impressed.
    Definitely keeping my pre-order.

There is a great emphasis on team-work though, so don't expect to get very far if you just run n gun.

I've played a few Battlefield games before and I really enjoyed BF3, some things more than other but overall a very solid game. People must realise that preorders is solely generated by hype and is far from a true reflection of actual popularity. If the game is good people will buy, if it's bad they won't, pre-order numbers mean nothing, just look at Homefront and all the pre-order records they set.

    *2 weeks after release*
those 34k people's friends tell them how supa-lewt BF3 is... Those 34k people kick themselves for canceling it.

Doubt it. Battlefield 3 caters for a wide range of systems. Were they to pull a Crysis 2 people would get pissed off and moan. Oh wait, they are doing it in any case =/ If I had the cash left to still preorder BF3 I would def do so. I was impressed by the beta. Though I do concur that the whole banning thing. But then again, EA should ensure that the servers are within parameters. Guess it will just have to be careful treading then.

And Origin is still quite young. Needs some TLC, but I'm sure EA will address the issues at a later stage

lol @ batman on skates. Your argument is invalid!!

Beta's has there pro's and cons, and unfortunately one of the cons is that it disproves a popular saying which is "ignorance is bliss". In there case ignorance is costing them $34K - and I mean the ignorant gamers out there. If stupidity could be measured, this would be it.
