My console is easier to play, for the reasons Lupus said.
Get home, turn on PS3, play a game on my home theatre system.
It's not about "but I can get better sound for my PC" or "the larger screen can be plugged into the pc", but rather the fact that they are already there
If I want to play a PC game, I have to go sit in the study with earphones on, and this is why I never play PC games. Console is fun when my friends come over, and we can sit and play PS3.
Don't get me wrong, I LOVE both types of gaming, and each one has it's own benefits outside of pure hardware or performance specs.
