Dude thats an old penny arcade pic. Old but classic. I have all their stuff dating back from 98.
Hah, yeah remember that from some time back.
It would seem all Blizzard are interested in anymore in making cash, plan and simple. Take for instance the lack of LAN support for both Diablo 3 and now Starcraft 2. Never mind the way they plan to release SC2 in 3 parts and likely charging full price per installment...
I think they will continue to make very polished games, but now the focus being on how to draw in the money by catering to the masses (can be a good or bad thing depending on ones perspective).
lol, well i only saw it yesterday
sad, fact is we the people who actually buy the games are also punished, but this would not be such a problem if we in RSA had first world internet access at a very low pricing. lans our yourselves could just interconnect with bnet and play away.

Yeah I can truly understand the reasoning, but it is kind of sad for all the bandwidth deficient people
Still, regardless of the whole LAN argument I still feel that Blizzard is going for an 'all-out-make-monies-now!' approach. It is a very fine line to walk between good business and just abusing peoples credit cards and cashing in
I guess its the way of gaming and many industries now, but sometimes I really do feel like I'm being gimped by game companies.
I will still buy both SC2 and Diablo 3 regardless - I am 100% sure they have some kind of subliminal messaging in their games! "Play more, Play now! No time for Pee-Pee break... PLAY!"
o well yay for bnet emulation, right ?
