Thread: Real Life SWAT member blasts BF3’s inaccuracies

I like realism... but to have a hissy fit about something like a flashlight or gun pointing up? come now. It is quite interesting that those are the only 2 problems he can find.

A lot of things are needed in a game such as BF to make it a good all rounder. Things i don't like but i realise the game would be annoying if it was 100% realistic.

For example: imagine the campers if there was no scope reflection? There is just too much cover for them to hide in and the game would stall with a camp-off.
"multiplatform"... the word that ruins games for PC gamers.

If people want to play with lasers and torches everywhere good for them, I'll watch to see them coming. They just mustn't whine about hacks when I knew they were coming around the corner.

he's having a hissy fit over the 'tac lights' and just happens to ignore the guys running around like headless chickens strafing and jumping everywhere, armoured vehicles zipping around like bumper cars and modern jets dogfighting like it's 1917

WTF is wrong with him. I'd be more concerned about this SWAT member than the crazed criminal brandishing a Desert Eagle who's holding me hostage in a bank or something.....

I must admit, the flashlight in the BF3 beta made me feel a bit like this:

That wasn't nearly as annoying as the 0.05fps I got when the beta first appeared, though.

    lol, good one.

This guy talks a lot of sense, and during the BF3 beta I actually had my tac light assigned to a mouse button just next to my melee, and the quick access to switch the tac light on and off makes a huge diffs.

The point remains, this is still just a game and not a war simulator to that end.
